Don’t you get excited after finding out that a simple accessory you’ve owned for ever, can be used in a different way? That simple hurricane candle holders can also be used as a flower vase or now that the holidays are fast approaching, fill it up with some pine cones and cinnamon sticks and you’re set!
This month I’m joining Stacy from Not Just A Housewife in her fun challenge Styled X3 where she picks up a mystery accessory and sends it off to a couple of bloggers so we get a chance to style it. This month’s pick was a beautiful “Faceted Glass Centerpiece Bowl” which I love from the moment I open up the box.
Over at Amazon this piece was displayed with a couple of succulents which I simply adore given their drought tolerant quality. But I wanted to do something different and while taking advantage of the season, I opted to use this piece as a candle holder but with three small candles and a bunch of tiny pine cones. Another option to substitute the latter would be tiny pieces of wooden disks available in packages and in craft stores.
This centerpiece bowl looks amazing over my coffee table as it complements the rest of my decor. At nights the soft light from the candles makes our living room feel so relaxing and peaceful.
Before you go, remember to visit Stacy from Not Just A Housewife and Wendy from The Shabby Nest to see how they’ve styled this piece.
I have many future ideas for this “Faceted Glass Centerpiece Bowl“; what would you make out of it?
