Balsam Hill’s 12 bloggers of Christmas

I’m so honored to be part of the “Balsam Hill‘s 12 Bloggers of Christmas” where, as a blogger, I’ve received compensation by Balsam Hill. The opinions stated here are my own. For more updates on their products you can always follow them on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.

There’s always a first time for everything and this year I’ve had the honored of being invited to join “+Balsam Hill‘s 12 Bloggers of Christmas”. Still I’m feeling like in a dream, since I’ve always wanted to join them for the Holidays, so please do pinch me!

After going through their amazing selection of trees, I ended up choosing a skinnier version to try something different from previous years. My Bellevue Spruce tree came pre-lit with clear/warm lights and a system called “Easy Plug™ technology” (everything is connected thought the main pole) which made the process of assembly a breeze! The realistic foliage was a huge plus and what converted me into an “artificial tree fanatic”.

Since this was my first time working with an artificial tree, Balsam Hill made it all easier for me by providing a step by step video on their YouTube channel (and website) and all the essential tools needed for fluffing and shaping this tree. I have to say that the beauty and quality is impressive.

Now for the decorations, this year I decided on having something with a slight sparkle but that had that classic and elegant appeal. The French Country Ornament set provided just that with an added “Je ne sais quoi” so reminiscent of an era long gone.

This collection has five different finishes from which I chose the “Ombré” and “Foil”. These handmade mercury glass pieces feel strong and heavy but at the same time with a delicate finish that provided a high quality product.

For quite sometime now I’ve been saving a very special ornament with a tiny replica of the “Tour Eiffel”. This piece is very dear to my heart since it represents a special moment in my life where I had the opportunity to travel to France with my husband for the first time and visit many iconic places. Since then, I really fell in love with this culture and their history. This tree and its ornaments were the perfect stage to display this piece so I can mentally go back in time to that unforgettable moment.

I also added to the mix of ornaments some natural elements like silk magnolia flowers and some eucalyptus branches to complement their texture. I also used “Metallic Berry Picks“to highlight areas around the tree with their shimmering surface and loved that they were very easy to bend and accommodate.

This tree didn’t needed much, with it’s full foliage and elegant shape it made this corner in our living room a very special place where we all want to hang out! Balsam Hill made this possible and now our Christmas nights will be filled with beauty and memories to be cherished!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my Christmas tree decor and stay tuned for Balsam Hill’s float on the Macy’s parade coming this next Thanksgiving morning! Also don’t forget to visit Caitlin of The Mama Notes and Kris of Driven By Decor to see their beautiful creations.

I was wondering if you had as much trouble as many other customers of Balsam Hill’s. I for one did not get to see their amazing tree as two weeks later I am still waiting on my order and had to go elsewhere for my Xmas tree. Trustpilot is full of miserable customers unable to get in touch with the company. Would be nice to know how you got on with them.
