Are you ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Martha from Simple Cozy Charm is more than ready with an amazing coffee bar. Gotta love her style! This February 14th you may want to make someone feel special without breaking the bank or even making your interest too official. Maybe creativity is not your thing, but with the help of these 4 simple ways to say I love you on Valentine’s Day you will for sure be covered.
Coffee for two
Say I love you with coffee; try a simple rosetta latte art or a heart. Or opt for simplicity and just add a small chocolate or biscuit.
Out of the box flowers
Instead of roses or fancy bouquets, give succulent which are guaranteed to surpass the life of any type of flower. Just keep in mind these are meant for sun filled areas and don’t like to get watered constantly. Also, prepare a bouquet from flowers you can find at grocery stores. In monochromatic sets these will look spectacular.
Remembering that day
Life is all about memorable instances and framing that first time you two took a picture, or maybe a special place you both visited; is a simple but beautiful gift for Valentine’s Day.
Be fresh
Serve fruits weather for breakfast or as snacks in the shape of a heart. Thinly slice your fruits (kiwi, strawberry and pears are great options) with small cookie cutters and place them in cute containers or over a cake stand.
Sharing love can always be more than words. It’s intentionally acting upon that feeling of making a special person feel cared for. Hope you all have an amazing Valentine’s Day!

February 9, 2018 at 5:45 pmThank you so much Sheila for your words. Funny you say that about the foam, because I just wrote to Janine that coffee has been in my life since I was a little kid. (I might have caffeinated blood 😂!) For me coffee brings back good memories and this latte thing that I play around with is like a tribute to the coffee history that lives within me.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!

February 9, 2018 at 2:09 pmGloribel, Jodie and I love this. This illustrates the true meaning behind the holiday: love. And how the greatest gifts of love can’t be bought. They are about expressing the love in gestures that represent time, effort and thoughtfulness. Great ideas and perfect reminders. Love you sweetie, Julie & Jodie

February 9, 2018 at 4:53 pmAww thank you ladies! We try to practice simple acts of love throughout the year. This list is just an example but love, as you said, can’t be bought or force; but gestures sometimes can carry deeper sentiments. Thanks again for stopping by and Happy Valentine’s Day!

February 9, 2018 at 2:16 pmI really like these simple acts that say “i love you” without actually needing those words, such a heart-warmer. Of course, words matter too, but these simple ways are what get me going in a relationship.

February 9, 2018 at 4:47 pmDiana, thank you so much for stopping by. Sometimes many of us live life in a rush but taking a couple of seconds to make our love ones feel special and loved, is what keeps the machine going. Words are important but many times simple gestures mean so mucho to others. Thanks again and happy Valentine’s Day to you!
