I’m so honored to be part of the BHG Live Better Influencer Network where, as a blogger, I’ve received compensation by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart. The opinions stated in Easy and affordable ideas for a fall room refresh are my own. The thought of a new season make some of us feel a bit anxious. Getting the house ready for guests, buying new accessories and coming up with new ideas to decorate your surrounding, can add up at the end of the day. But if you’re one of those people who like to keep things within a budget while at the same time being stylish; continue reading these easy and affordable ideas for a fall room refresh.
Don’t be afraid to go big
While a new piece of furniture can sometimes feel like you’re about to break the bank; keep in mind that you can add one at a time. For a long time now I’ve been looking for the perfect sofa that’ll fit in our small living room but that wouldn’t cost us an eye. The new line of sofas and sectionals from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart, has many great options for all spaces, big or small. I chose for our living room the Better Homes & Gardens Gramercy 73” Sofa which comes in brown faux leather, gray and the one that I bought, cream. This piece only cost $329 and was delivered to my door by Walmart in just two days. Talk about convenience!
I was so surprise with how confortable this sofa was, and because I wanted a more modern look, I chose the track arms. The seat cushions all have zippers which makes cleaning them a breeze.
To add that family touch, a pillow with the word “Gather” greets and welcomes all into our home.
Framing the fireplace
Our historic fireplace normally doesn’t needs a lot to stand out. But I couldn’t resist the Better Homes & Gardens Gold Lanterns and neither their affordable price, just $19.94. The rustic stone on my fireplace and the metallic of the lanterns made a perfect pairing.
Falling for my coffee table
Coffee tables are one of the first areas where I like to display some of my favorite seasonal accessories. Candles are ideal when bringing that cozy atmosphere into any room. The bowl where we place our luminaries is one of the first things I notice. The Better Homes & Gardens, Hammered Metal Bowl Gold Candle (Soft Cashmere Amber) brings that sophisticated look into my coffee table.
I placed this beauty over the Better Homes & Gardens Marble Tray ($19.94) and added a real mini pumpkin for that fall whimsy final touch.
Sometimes out-of-the-box ideas will bring the best outcome. So instead of using a regular vase for some fall faux foliage, I used the Better Homes & Gardens Ceramic Hobnail Canister (just $11.88!). The simplicity of this piece mix with the textured surface was what this coffee table needed.
Entryway my way
Our entryway calls for small, but beautiful pieces. Being so close to the door, all I needed in this area when coming late for work was a place to put my keys and illumination. Turning on my previous lamp took almost forever. Now all it takes is the soft touch of my fingers with the Better Homes & Gardens Woodgrain Touch Table Lamp (in Walnut and Brushed Brass Finish). It compact size and modern lines mix very well with the rest of my decor.
I’m loving how with all these easy and affordable ideas for a fall room refresh I was able to transform this area. While I used these pieces to decorate for this season, they are also perfect for Christmas as well. From now on you’ll see more of these accessories on my Instagram account throughout the rest of holidays. Don’t forget to follow along so you don’t miss how I’ll continue to style my home with these and many more Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart decor pieces available at Walmart.
