It’s time to not overthink our Christmas list! Like many of you, sometimes I fail to come up with an idea for a gift without even noticing how easy it can be. No matter the size of the gift or the price, just keep in mind that that the final objective is to say “thank you for everything”.  Today I’m sharing these simple and affordable gift ideas for anyone on you list.

Teach with love

When I was a little kid I remember seeing how both my parents (teachers at that moment) would go great lengths to help their students. Now that I’m a mother, I understand and see with grateful eyes how my daughters’ teachers do the same and sometimes even more. For each of them I’ve prepared different gifts that show just how thankful we are for their work.

I used from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart this Candle Rail For Votive & Tealight Candles and instead of using candles, I used plants. Succulents are ideal for this project since they don’t need to get watered so often. Before I started this project I drilled holes in the bottom of each vessel. This will help by keeping those roots dry and without humidity which these plants aren’t fan of.

Another idea for a teacher’s gift is a mini snack basket. In a Better Homes &  Gardens Wire Caddy with Handles, Antiqued Gray, I placed water, pop-corn bags, banana bread in a mug, and chocolates. This will make a great snack for those days when they are to busy to sit and lunch.

Sweet and comfort drink

My favorite gift; hot cocoa! This is a very inexpensive present which is easy to personalized as well. In a holiday treat bag, I placed my favorite mix of hot cocoa powder. After making sure it was tightly closed, I placed around some Wilton Candy Cane Peppermint Flavored Candy Spoons with a red ribbon. I then inserted this package inside a Better Homes & Gardens Porcelain Square Mug and proceeded to personalized it with a permanent black marker. I loved how it looks and know anyone in my gift list will enjoy it too.

For the recently married

For all those recently married couples in our lists, it can be difficult to come up with a gift. But I found at Walmart a cute set of His & Her’s Stemless Wine Glasses from Better Homes & Gardens. I then added to each a small wine bottle (so cute, right!) and placed them over a Better Homes & Gardens Acacia Wood and Marble Cookbook/Tablet Holder. Now this gift is ready to be packed and deliver to a lovely couple!

For that caring neighbor
