I’m so honored to be part of the BHG Live Better Influencer Network where, as a blogger, I’ve received compensation by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart. Every beginning of a year brings to many of us, that urging feeling and sense of organization. Rooms, kitchens, even garages get a refresh and some needed TLC. I like to start a new year with a fresh bathroom and today I’ll be sharing 4 things you can do to give this space that renewed feeling without spending a fortune.
My basket obsession
Yes, I had a thing for baskets! The reason being is their versatility and that textural element they bring into any space. I usually have baskets under our vanity to store some our toiletries and bathroom basics. But with the normal wear and tear, some of these needed to be replaced. The size of the Better Homes & Gardens Rectangle Water Hyacinth 2PC Basket Set were excellent for under our sinks.
A place for everything
Organization has always come natural to me. I love having a place for everything and the bathroom is no exception. Inside some glass apothecary inspired vessels I’ve found a place to put my soaps, toilet paper rolls and cottons. But one of the places that tends to deteriorate the most is the toothbrush holder and tray. I like to replaced these from time to time because of the water damage they undergo. I like simple lines and because of this I decided on the Better Homes & Gardens Metal Collection (Toothbrush Holder) and Vanity Organization Tray. Simple pieces and right for this area.
No bare wall, just bare…
Well, if everything else is going to be bare in this bathroom, let’s at least keep those walls dressed properly. And I was able to score some beautiful Better Homes & Gardens 11×14 Rustic Wood Gallery Frames at my nearest Walmart. I opted for some beach pictures that I took on my cellphone from one of our travels to keep this fresh and breeze feeling throughout.
Dry and fresh
There’s nothing worst than step-in out of the bathroom and drying up with a rough towel. I always prefer to get a new set to replace some of my old ones. At Walmart I found the Better Homes & Gardens Thick and Plush Heathered Bath Towel Collection and I couldn’t believe how soft and thick these were. And even to my surprise, after a couple of washes, they kept their softness and plush! Just wow!
And just like that I was able to give a visual fresh look to our bathroom with a very moderate budget. What part of your home need a refresh ASAP?
