Signature Kitchen Suite; an experience for the senses

I’m so honored to be part of the DesignHounds group.  Although this is a sponsored post,  the opinions stated in Signature Kitchen Suite; an experience for the senses are my own.

How can a brand of appliances provide an experience for our senses? Surely enough, the first thing that comes to mind is the sight. Through the years we’ve seen how technological advances have been a key in our houses, specially in our kitchens. But after visiting Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS), I can assure you that there’s more than meets the eye.

We stayed at the Vista Collina Resort in Napa. Such a beautiful place!

Getting to Napa

Recently I joined the DesignHounds group of interior designer, decorators and influencers for a very exciting venture in Napa. Our main mission was to get to know better a brand of appliances and then share this knowledge with our followers. But who would’ve thought that this visit will turned into an unforgettable experience.

From day one we were welcomed by the most charismatic people in the SKS Experience & Design Center. They all made us feel like we were part of their family. But it was after hearing Zach Elkin’s (general manager of SKS) warm welcome that I truly started to wonder more about Signature Kitchen Suite products. He spoke so avidly about this brand that I just couldn’t wait to star touring this place.

Wine and food for the soul

Our days in Napa were filled with wine tastings, delicious food and learning opportunities (not necessarily in this order). We also had a chance to visit CIA at Copia, Artesa and also enjoyed the views of many vineyards while on our way.

Artesa winery had exquisite views but even better wine!

After savoring many vintages from around the Valley, we got up close and personal with “la pièce de résistance”; the Integrated Column Wine Refrigerator. This amazing built-in wine column from Signature Kitchen Suite was “inspired by the ideal environment of historic old-world wine caves”. Temperature, movement and light were taken into consideration to provide the best housing and preservation of the “vino”.

Experiencing great food was another opportunity that Signature Kitchen Suite offered us. But to our surprise, we had chef A.J. Schaller from Crea who demonstrated how she was able to prepare a full feast using Signature Kitchen Suite appliances and in a record time. The spread aromas of lamb chops with a mint and yogurt sauce and an out-of-this-world  “crème brûlée” (both prepared in the 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range with Sous Vide and Induction), will forever be a historical memory in my mind.

Chatting about business

On this event we also enjoyed three eye opening chats about business in design as well as social media tactics. Our amazing speakers were LuAnn Nigara, Carla Aston, Leslie Carothers and Claire Jefford. Their words of wisdom touch many of us in multiple levels and open an interesting conversation about business nowadays. My list of “things I want to do”  to better myself as a professional interior designer doubled after their uplifting speeches.

I can certainly keep going about the memories created during this trip and the thoughtful technology behind each Signature Kitchen Suite product. But after putting into work all of my 5 senses, I can only say THANK YOU to Modenus and Signature Kitchen Suite for allowing us to experience innovation with a renewed appreciation of being “True to Food”.

These kitchens were part of the showroom in Signature Kitchen Suits Experience and Design Center. They were able to display how perfectly form and function can work together for an amazing outcome.
