A soft transitional fall decor in your entryway…and other parts of home

I’m so honored to be part of the BHG Live Better Influencer Network where, as a blogger, I’ve received compensation by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart. The opinions stated in A soft transitional fall decor in your entryway…and other parts of home are my own. Autumnal equinox is soon to start on September 23, 2019. But while be wait, why not start a soft transitional fall decor in your entryway… and other parts of home. Some minimal changes will transform this area and create that warm and welcoming feeling we all love about Autumn.

Let’s start outside

There are many projects in my “Fall’s to-do list”. While some require great manpower, I’ll start with items that will bring me that instant change. Our garage fixtures were already worn out due the harsh weather we get here in Miami. For this I needed to find a good replacement that would go with our 1938 Mediterranean inspired house. At Walmart I found the Better Homes & Gardens Cage Wall Sconces. After installing them I couldn’t believe how illuminated this whole area looked! Their simple lines and size pair down incredibly well with the style of our house.

New accent planters

To add charm to our front of the house, I decided to incorporate big planter. The Better Homes and Gardens Camrose Farmhouse Outdoor Planter was ideal for this purpose. I love using these in pairs to balance off the look. One fits ideally on one of the sides of our garage door, while the other was place close to our entryway.

Basket as a planter

Yes, you read that correctly! I’m using in our little porch a basket as a planter. Adding layers of texture is one of my favorite ways to decor. This Better Homes & Gardens Large Natural Water Hyacinth Boat Basket was the perfect accent for this small area and big enough for two plants!

For those small entryways

Because this area is another spot that welcomes our guests, I love giving it an autumnal love. Over our console table to set that soft transitional fall decor in the entryway, I place two Better Homes & Gardens, Gold Pillar & Taper Candle Holder (one medium and one large). The brass color adds a little warmth to this corner.

One more way to add a soft transitional decor

Here’s another great pairing from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart for under $200 to give a small entryway an autumnal look:

Now that we’re set in the entryway, what other area in your home would you like to start decorating for the fall season?
